64. Great Wall of China

This is doubtlessly the most famous construction in China. It is also the largest construction project ever undertaken and extends 7,200m through China, from the ocean to the desert. Construction began in 221 B.C. and ended in the 17th century. The part of the wall you see today was built between 1368 and 1644 under the rule of the Ming Dynasty.
The Great Wall of China is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
