54. "Notre Dame du Haut" Chapel
Designed and constructed by the famous architect Le Corbusier between the years 1951 and 1955, "the Notre Dame du Haut" chapel is the most important example of modern church architecture made of reinforced concrete. Although is was criticized during the 1950's, the chapel in Ronchamp, France is now the most visited of Le Corbusier's constructions.
