91. Taj Mahal

The most famous building in all of India can be found in Agra. The Taj Mahal is a marble mausoleum made for the favourite wife of the Mogul lead Shah Jahan, who died in 1631. The monument is 73 metres high and has an onion dome surrounded by four minarettes. It is considered to be a perfect example of Islamic architecture.
