58. Leaning Tower of Pisa
The tower was built between 1173 and 1375 and has a height of 54.75m. At the moment, the slant at the top of the tower is 4.86m. Tourists were allowed into the tower until 1989, when is was closed because of the danger of collapse.
In 2001 it reopened to the public. The square on which it is located is a UNESCO world heritage site.
