46. Spittelau Heating Plant
The outer facade of the entire Spittelau Heating Plant in Vienna, Austria, was redone in 1989 by the famous painter and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. This plain building was turned into a spectacular and unique work of art, and is an example of harmonic symbiosis between technology, ecology and art.
